Trojan proud, 2010 PHS grad, Courtney Mckain Snyder, as the video editor at ESPN, she has received two Emmy awards, recognizing her excellence as a video editor. While at PHS, she was a member of the band, choir, yearbook and newspaper staff. Reflecting on her high school career she said I am most proud of creating the PHS video yearbook for three years.
Courtney went on to attend Hofstra University where she graduated in 2014 with a degree in television/video production.
Her advice to students, never let someone tell you that you can’t. I work in a male dominated field and for the last decade have been told time, and again that I couldn’t do this, or that. But that just made me work harder to prove them wrong. Strength and resiliency are qualities I learned at Pottstown High School. Proud to say I am a Trojan Forever.
